1972 Marcon tomahawk 25, fin keel yacht
Marcon Tomahawk 25,No. 22 built with many spares 5 berth with standing room throughout for a 6ft person. Original gel coat to decks and topsides Under the waterline taken back clean and faired to original gelcoat 2 years ago with 3 coats of primer and 3 coats of micron 350w antifoul. Interior Main cabin - Recent refit with carpet lining added to roof and sides. New LED roof light. New LED reading lights above berths. Waterproof cushions. Ample storage in 2 quarter berths and under U- shaped dining area with removable table. Also there an insulated storage locker for keeping cool stuff cool. Sought after alcohol cooker which avoids storing gas bottles on board for cooking and gas leaks. Nice little nav desk for plotting passages on the port side in front of quarter berth. Sink Loads of storage in cupboards, cubby holes and under seats Front in/Vee berth - Recent refit with surfaces and roof lining carpeted New LED roof light New reading lights above berths Waterproof cushions Wet box Storage under full berth Heads - Recent refit, including UPC panelling added to walls Carpeting added to roof and sides. Jabsco sea toilet serviced last year with all seals and joker valve replaced New LED light fitted Engine Volvo Penta 2002 Diesel 2 Cylinder Starter changed last year New Jabsco fresh water pump fitted July 2024 Coolant circulation pump rebuilt with new bearings and seals August 2024 with coolant flush Hull Under the waterline was full stripped back to original gelcoat 2 years ago, smoothed and flatted with 3 coats of primer followed by 3 coats of micron 350W paint. She was cleaned at start of season and all fouling just brushed off lightly by hand. Anodes checked and good. Topsides are all original gel coat with no paint. Few age related rubs and marks off fenders but she's honest and not covering anything up, could do with a polish which is on the list to do. Deck Again all original with spacious cockpit, all lines lead to cockpit except reefing lines where you have to get up and hook sail up to rams horn anyway. Winches rebuilt and re sealed in 2023 Fender baskets added to store fenders underway. Sails Furling genoa headsail Main sail Recent sail pack and lazy jack system. Spinnaker Spare main, jib, storm maybe a jib I think as well Autopilot Garmin chart plotter NASA depth NASA Speed log USB charging ports all around boat Spare Volvo Penta 2002 engine and control panel I bought for parts if I needed any parts is there also at additional cost.
